Description

Master's Decaf was the first decaffeinated matcha sold outside Japan, introduced by DōMatcha in 2016 and made with a proprietary water-based process that leaves roughly 6mg of caffeine per gram. It is produced from young shade-grown tencha in the Kyoto region, and reviewers find it smooth and silky with an umami sweet-grass flavor. It suits evening drinking and matcha lattes and comes in a 30g tin.

Lead (Pb)Tea plants naturally take up trace lead from soil, so small amounts are common. Shown in parts per million (ppm). Lower is better. There is no single FDA limit for tea; California’s Prop 65 (a daily-intake limit) is the most-cited consumer benchmark. Not detected (<0.4 ppm)
