Encha is a direct-to-consumer organic matcha company founded in 2014 by Dr. Li Gong, who left a Silicon Valley career after tasting organic matcha in Japan. It sources first-harvest, USDA-organic matcha from organic farms in Uji, Kyoto, and sells ceremonial, latte, and limited single-origin grades with farm-to-cup traceability.
