Frauth Matcha

Frauth is a Japanese-owned matcha company that Remy Morimoto Park started out of a Manhattan studio apartment in 2017, after years of drinking the tea her grandmother carried back from Japan. It buys from multigenerational family farms and sells single-cultivar, first-harvest lots from Yame, Uji, and Shizuoka instead of one house blend. The company now runs out of Los Angeles and sells each matcha as a 30g tin under its own name.
