Matcha Republic

Matcha Republic (抹茶共和国) opened its Uji flagship in 2017 as the retail face of a Kyoto matcha wholesaler, and is best known in Japan for lattes served in glass ink bottles. Alongside the drinks it sells Uji matcha in 30g tins, graded separately for lattes, thin tea, and tea ceremony. It has no connection to the American company The Republic of Tea.
