Uji-Hikari is one of the most sought-after cultivars for matcha and gyokuro, and this hand-picked version is creamy and bright with a fine-grained sweetness. It works as usucha or koicha. Yoshida Meichaen has farmed roughly two hectares in the Ogura district of Uji for over 200 years.
