Tsujiri Chaho Matcha
Tsujiri Chaho is a Kitakyushu tea house that traces its founding to Tsuji Riemon in Uji in 1860 and incorporated as its own company in 1956, after splitting from the Kyoto Tsujiri line through noren-wake succession. It is a separate business from the catalog's Tsujiri Ichi Honten (Tsuji Riichi Honten Co., Ltd. of Uji), from Gion Tsujiri, and from Tsuji Rihei Honten, all of which descend independently from the same 1860 founder. The company sources tea from both Uji in Kyoto and Yame in Fukuoka, and runs the Tsujiri matcha cafes that expanded internationally from Taiwan.
