- Description
Tencha from Joyo and Wazuka, blended from Samidori, Yabukita and Okumidori, gets fired at high temperature before it is ground. The roast pushes the cup toward kinako, toasty and nutty, and leaves it a reddish green with almost no bitterness. Sweetness comes through on its own, with mild astringency behind it, in water or in milk.
