Hiroko (紘子) is a limited edition matcha from Kyoto made from a single Saemidori cultivar, stone-milled from shade-grown first-harvest leaf. It is warm and full bodied, with red bean, butter mochi, and toasted barley over balanced umami, and a dark chocolate depth comes through in milk. The body is thick enough for koicha and it still whisks well as usucha.
