A slightly stronger firing gives Hika a light roastiness that rounds off its brightness, landing on a smooth and balanced bowl. Maruyasu Chagyō has been working with Shiga tea since 1872, drawing on its home town of Tsuchiyama and the growing area of Asamiya. The name means scarlet fire.
