TL;DR
Ippodo's apex koicha. Maxed-out umami and vegetal depth, almost no bitterness. Priced accordingly, around $4 a gram.
About
Kanza is the top of the Ippodo range. The price is real (the gap between this and Kuon is more than 30%), and so is the depth.
Flavor
At koicha thickness the umami is almost overwhelming. There's no bitterness to balance it, so the sweetness on the back end has to do that job. And it does. Vegetal is at the ceiling.
Verdict
Drink it as koicha or you've made a pricing mistake. The depth that justifies the price doesn't show up at thin ratios.
