Matchaful

Matchaful is a female-founded matcha company started by Hannah Habes in 2012 out of her Brooklyn apartment, now selling online and through its cafés in New York City. Its single-origin matcha comes from a fourth-generation family farm in Shizuoka prefecture run by Hattori-san, where the tea is grown without pesticides and shaded under solar panels that also power nearby towns. Matchaful stone-mills its tencha to order in small batches and buys direct from the farm under a farm-to-whisk model.
